Handcrafted by skilled artisans in our Białka cooperative workshops using 75 years of refined expertise, this model is built for serious sledding performance.What distinguishes the three-bridge design from the two-bridge version is the additional central crossbar that provides extra support and rigidity. This third bridge distributes weight more effectively across the runner system, increases overall structural strength without significantly adding weight, and creates a more stable riding platform—particularly valuable when navigating varied terrain or riding at higher speeds. Each sledge is handcrafted from carefully selected solid wood sourced from FSC®-certified sustainable Polish forests. Our artisans employ traditional steam-bending techniques to create the graceful runner curves—a time-intensive process that produces stronger, more resilient curves than alternative methods. The three crossbar bridges are precisely positioned and secured to optimize strength and weight distribution, while the wooden slat seating platform is assembled with expert spacing that provides comfortable flexibility without compromising structural integrity. The entire sledge receives multiple coats of water-based, eco-friendly lacquers that protect against harsh winter conditions—moisture, snow, ice, and dramatic temperature fluctuations—while highlighting the natural beauty of the wood grain. The runners are specially finished to create smooth gliding surfaces that perform excellently across various snow conditions, from fresh powder to packed slopes. Available in two generous sizes—110cm (suitable for most adults and tandem youth riders) and 120cm (our largest "YARO" model, accommodating tall adults, heavier riders, or comfortable tandem riding)—this three-bridge design offers serious capacity while maintaining the classic Davos aesthetic and traditional steering characteristics. The sturdy rope pull attached to the front makes uphill transport manageable despite the larger size.
